With Monte Carnival you can run a simulation and choose whether to print a list of the values that appeared in the simulation cell from each iteration or to calculate all open Excel workbooks during a simulation. Go to our demo page to see it in action!
Monte Carnival comes with 12 different types of random distributions including Normal, Lognormal, Triangular, Discrete, Uniform, Binomial, Yes/No, Beta, Gamma, T, F, and Chi-Squared. Go to our demo page to see it in action!
The Debug Model tool allows you to efficiently search a model for errors using conditional statements. Once the criteria is met, the simulation will stop, allowing you to make necessary corrections. Go to our demo page to see it in action!
To run a Monte Carnival simulation, simply select a simulation cell, enter the number of trials, and click start. With a built in progress bar and checkboxes, Monte Carnival gives you the option to update all open workbooks or generate a list of the values from the simulation cell from each trial.
With Monte Carnival you are able to choose from 12 random distributions to insert. Select the distribution type from the drop-down box, enter your values, and then select a cell or range of cells to insert the distribution formula into.
The Model Debug tool allows for efficiently checking a model for errors. Select the test cell, select a condition from the drop-down box, and enter a value. Monte Carnival will update the spreadsheet(s) or workbook(s) until the condition is met, giving you the ability to evaluate the calculations that cause the error value.
The custom ribbon tab includes 4 buttons for navigating the Monte Carnival application. The output includes statistical information, a histogram describing the simulation results, and if selected, a list of simulation values from each iteration.
